EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 4+ YEARS
OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility will be to provide building engineering and general maintenance services of approximately 350,000 square feet in an office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter possessing a service attitude, and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for day-to-day building operations, including responding to tenant requests and performing repairs and maintenance of building systems.
- Maintain positive communication with building tenants. Evaluate, prioritize, respond, and follow up on tenants’ requests and problems.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and finishes.
- Inspect and maintain the building’s overall appearance.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractor activity for maintenance, repairs, tenant improvements, and capital projects.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and client representatives.
- Knowledge of the IMPAK tenant portal system preferred.
- Work in a safety-conscious environment.
- Have a proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
- Provide weekly written operations reports.
- Use best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years’ experience in a commercial building environment.
- HVAC, BAS, DDC/electrical controls, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Physical Condition – Ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift up to 50 pounds of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders).
- Computer Skills – Proficiency in Word, Excel, Windows, and Energy Management System.
- Review building drawings (architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
